Jordan Corbett is an attorney at Allison & Mosby-Scott, who is dedicated to serving clients in various civil matters. Her goal is to assist clients in navigating complex divorce matters with empathy, clear communication, and practical legal guidance. Jordan has a passion for family law and has experience handling a plethora of family law matters including dissolution of marriage, child custody, asset division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, adoptions, and post-decree matters. Jordan also has experience in contract law, negotiation, and civil litigation.
She earned her law degree cum laude from DePaul University College of Law, where she was a Family Law Fellow and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Business Organizations. Jordan also holds a cum laude bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in History and the Social Sciences from Illinois State University.
Prior to joining the firm, Jordan clerked and later practiced as an associate attorney at a family law firm in Chicago, focusing on a blend of strong client advocacy and strategic negotiations. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2024 and recently relocated to Bloomington.
Jordan believes most conflicts can be resolved through open dialogue and a willingness to consider different perspectives. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading mysteries and thrillers (Agatha Christie is a favorite), spending time with loved ones, and volunteering at her mother’s annual Shop With a Cop fundraiser for local families.
